Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Schultz.
Hi Sabrina; please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hi, My name is Sabrina. I’m 23 years old. I started beauty school at Brillare Beauty Institute a little over 4 months ago. I always struggled with acne and susceptible skin. I put off going to school for years due to covid and mental health reasons. But one day, I just decided to finish my Fafsa and enroll in a school I’ve wanted to attend since I was 18. Since the school is in Cleveland, I’ve been struggling to find clients because I am not from there. I’m from a small town called Tellico Plains, just over an hour outside Knoxville. I would love to have more support in what I do because I love to make people feel they are wanted, special, and beautiful. I would love to have more clients come to my school location so I can practice and meet new people. After I graduate, I would love to work at a high-end spa. And later on, go back to school to become a Cosmetic Nurse. That is my dream career.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My biggest struggle is finding ways to advertise; coming from a small town, it’s hard to get any support.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a Beauty Advisor at ULTA Beauty. In Maryville, TN. I love working there, and I love my coworkers. I especially love getting to try and use different makeup brands. I also love helping customers find what works best for them on their beauty journey. What sets me apart is that I care about people and try to find products that will work for them. I’m not pushy to get people to buy things. I am naturally very interested and intelligent in the beauty industry. And I love to share my thoughts and ideas with the next person.
We’d love to hear what you think about risk-taking.
I take risks as much as I can. I am a very impulsive person but In a good way.
