Today we’d like to introduce you to Tasha Giles
Hi Tasha, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Decided to make a career change at 47! Enrolled at Douglas J Aveda downtown Knoxville. Took classes at night from 5-10pm and worked full-time during the day. My daughter was a sophomore in college and I always had a passion for working with skin, and helping others. Background in dermatology and plastic surgery. Took the leap January 2024 and opened my own Aesthetics business! Best decision I could have made! I knew when I decided to go back to school, I wanted to open my own business.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Opening your own business is challenging. But I decided in the beginning I would have a mentor coach to guide me and work with. I stayed consistent on what I learned and I would recommend anyone wanting to be a business owner don’t give up, show up for that business everyday, educate yourself constantly, get out and meet people, tell everyone what you do, pray over it limit distractions!

Glow by Tasha Aesthetics specializes in aging gracefully. My specialties are pigment, sun damage to skin, fine lines/wrinkles and skin texture. I am a. Multi-cultural Esthetician that can service all skin types and skin tones. I am known for providing a welcoming relaxing place to come relax, listening ear, ethics and honesty, treating you the way I would like to be treated and guiding you to healthy skin.
I feel what sets me apart is educating my clients about their skin and proper products to use and not just “selling to them”. My goal is to give them their desired driven results.
I am most proud of at Glow by Tasha Aesthetics are how my clients feel after their treatments and seeing their results! I want to deliver amazing results, my clients deserve that!
Would love the readers to know I truly have a passion for what I do and feel that it shows in my work! I want my clients walking out of their services confident. I appreciate each and every client that has trusted me with their skin!
