Melissa , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have always known that I was going to be a hairstylist, but my journey in the beauty industry began right out of high school. I have been blessed to have worked with many talented stylists through the years and have learned so much from them.
I took a chance on a life-long dream in 2018 and purchased Krome Salon & Spa. Even though business ownership is a never ending roller coaster, I have zero regrets. Continuing to build and grow our top-rated salon is as exciting as it is challenging.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Covid-19 has been the biggest challenge we have faced. The shutdown and uncertainties gave our entire industry pause. I believe that getting to the other side of that as a team has certainly brought us closer and taught us that you can never be too prepared.

Although we specialize in gray coverage, blinding, and lived-in color services, our guests can also indulge in a facial, massage, eyelash extensions, and much more in our spa area. I define success as building this business and our team on a solid foundation of excellence and trust, and that each team member has unlimited opportunity to grow.
