Meet Brie Capone of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brie Capone

Hi Brie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my creative journey as a musician mainly. I fell in love with songwriting at a young age and just kept going. I went to Berklee College of Music for Professional Music, I had bands throughout college and then was with a band in NYC for a few years until eventually creating solo work in Asheville, NC. I got to perform my work locally and nationally. I made it to Hollywood week for American Idol’s 2018 season.
I fell in love with acting and LA and I’ve been working on different kinds of musical and artistic projects, including an alter ego named Luci Acoustix who has a seasonal social media hit “Little Pumpkin Spice”
I feel very lucky I’ve been able to continue my creative endeavors and learn knew things along the way.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I think I’ve been really blessed to have the people I have in my life. My family has gone through struggles. My mom was diagnosed with MS when I was 14 which changed alor for the family and influenced my life in a lot of ways. I think when you’re the kid of a sick parent there’s like and understanding of life’s imperfections and problems that not everyone sees. It’s like being in the worst club ever. But you do develop a dark and unique sense of humor 😉 I am terribly grateful for all the love and support my family gives and has always given me.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I write music and sing. usually in the acoustic, songwriter genre.

More recently I started a project for my favorite season; Halloween.
So I have a spooky alter ego that comes to life at the end of August

“Luci Acoustix the cosmic witch from the Halloween loving planet
Autumnia, from the Pumpkinton 6 Galaxy, was created during the pandemic
Luci began writing songs that kept her happy and fed her spooky spirit while away from home.
‘LittlePumpkinSpice’ an ode to her favorite time of year, has over 5 million
impressions worldwide*on streaming platforms and social media, and every
year it finds a larger spooky audience. For the new year she hopes to make
more creepy cutie connections sharing new music and her original stories of
friendship and fall FUN! ”

It’s a blast getting to create for her.

I also enjoy acting and performing any chance I get! I got to join SAG this past year! I’ve been loving working on sets and getting to know the industry.

What are your plans for the future?
I’ll be spending more time creating a show and characters for Luci and hopefully working on more sets. Id love to put out more records for the Fall. I’m really enjoying being able to create and to meet other creatives in LA. Every day is an adventure.
