Hi Boston, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We started a YouTube channel in 2016 for fun and then started posting consistently since then. I would say it took about four years of filming and a few viral videos to hit 100k subscribers. It has been so fun for us because we both love filming and sharing our lives on camera. We are so lucky to have a bunch of cool moments caught on camera like, our birthday’s, holidays, vacations, and everyday life stuff for us to look back on. It’s like a journal but with video blogs.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Growing a following was super hard. We were so consistent for so many years and it felt like nothing was happening. I would spend every night at the computer editing because I did not want to give up or miss a day of posting.
Sharing your life on social media has its pros and cons and one of those is receiving online hate. There were definitely some moments when we both felt sad or down when someone made a mean comment or video about us. I really feel like it made us more resilient and now when we get hate we just block or laugh about it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are lifestyle content creators/vloggers and share our life on YouTube, Tik Tok and Instagram. We have had a lot of fun opportunities to work with some of our favorite brands like, Nike, Amazon, Hollister, Target, Walmart etc!
