Meet Ashley Wyatt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Wyatt.

Hi Ashley, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began in this industry around 14 years ago. I have my instructor’s license and am currently behind the chair in my studio, Studio Ashley.

Growing up, I never dreamed that I would have my own business doing something that I absolutely love! I started right out of school as an assistant, went back to get my instructor’s license, helped open a cosmetology school, worked in a salon with a great group of girls for years, and now to my studio.

I am thankful for each one of these chapters of my career because each has been an experience that I have enjoyed in its own way.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
What an amazing road it’s been! I am so thankful for each part of this industry that I have been a part of. Each has taught me so much about business, relationships, and taking every challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow. My clients love the vibe of it just being them and me in the studio and really having that one on one time together.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in blondes and sew-in extensions. Blonde isn’t just a hair color, it’s something we like to call “Ashley Blonde”. This is a super bright, platinum blonde that when someone sees they know I did it. (This is what my clients say.) Blonde is a lifestyle that requires a commitment to maintaining so I always encourage my clients to prebook their next few appointments before they leave to ensure they get back in right on schedule.

Color and extensions are two ways to make someone feel even better about themselves in a short amount of time. Your hair and smile are two of the best assets we have! Seeing that smile on a client’s face, receiving a hug, or hearing the words miracle worker after enhancing their appearance is something that I do not take for granted. Being there for challenges and life celebrations through every stage of life with my clients is such a cool bond.

Being in my own studio means for me that my clients come directly to me for anything they may need. This includes scheduling an appointment, asking questions about products or extensions, and pretty much anything else that comes along. I want my clients to know that I am here for them.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
That leap of faith is worth it when you’re willing to put in the time and hard work that others aren’t, that’s how you set yourself apart. Any change I have made, I wished I would have done it sooner because it always makes me even happier than the last one!
