Life & Work with Paul Boyles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Boyles.

Paul, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve had a long and successful career in Human Resources. It’s afforded the opportunity to work in manufacturing, hospitality, service industries, and state government.

I have been able to work for family-owned businesses and large international companies. My experiences have given my family a great life with truly incredible rewards. In thinking about what my next step might be, I knew I wasn’t ready to retire.

I came to the conclusion that it was time to help others navigate their careers and share the experiences I have had over the last 35 years. After giving it careful consideration, I decided to offer Executive Coaching services.  I also provide training and human resources services to others.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like life, being an entrepreneur is not an easy road to travel. It is filled with plenty of twists and turns (sometimes when you least expect it). The opportunities are unlimited.

The challenges can be frustrating. My secret is to know they are coming and be prepared. Have solid relationships with others that can help you face the challenges that will come.

Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask for help or guidance. Being an entrepreneur does not mean you are on this highway alone.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I help professionals overcome challenges, improve their performance, and increase results, by providing expert knowledge and outstanding service.

My ability to work with clients who are looking to grow professionally or advance their career is available to individuals or teams. Every client is given a tailored approach to achieve their specific goals and defined objectives. To meet your needs my customized services can be delivered in-person or virtually.

With over 35 years of human resources experience, I possess a broad range of knowledge in manufacturing, service industry, hospitality, and state government. I provide individually customized services to help leaders as they guide their teams.

My broad range of experience seems to lend itself well to all sorts of situations today’s leaders face.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
The best advice I can give is to make sure you are passionate about what you want to do.

Don’t let setbacks stop you. Do your research and find all the available resources out there. Find a few mentors (someone who “has what you want”) and take full advantage of their expertise, experience, and support.

Find a local entrepreneur center in your community and get connected. Network and build real relationships where you can help others and they can help you.
