Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Myers.
Hi Sarah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey to founding EverMark Publishing is deeply personal. It began with the story of my beloved father-in-law, Leon, a man of quiet strength and unwavering faith. Leon was born in Cades Cove before it became a National Park, and he carried with him not only a lifetime of his own remarkable experiences but also the stories of his ancestors. After his death, I realized that if I didn’t take the time to capture his story, the history and wisdom of his lineage could have been lost to time. Writing Leon’s story was a gift to my family and a way to ensure his legacy and that of his ancestors would live on.
That experience was a turning point. It made me realize that countless people have powerful stories—stories of resilience, faith, entrepreneurship, and love—that deserve to be preserved. Many people have told me how they have a story to tell, they’re just too busy or simply don’t know where to start.
I’ve spent years as a published author and ghostwriter for Amazon best-selling books, helping others bring their narratives to life. I saw a need for a service that combined my professional expertise with a deeply personal, human-centered approach. That’s why I created EverMark Publishing.
Today, EverMark is a full-service publishing company that partners with individuals to turn their stories into professionally written and published books. We handle all the heavy lifting—guided interviews, writing the book, editing, cover design and publishing—so our clients can focus on sharing their truth in an authentic manner. It’s my mission to ensure that no one’s story is ever left untold, and that every life leaves a mark that lasts forever.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to launching EverMark Publishing has been incredibly rewarding, but it certainly hasn’t been without its challenges. The primary struggle has been a classic one for many entrepreneurs: connecting with the people who need my services the most.
You see, my ideal clients aren’t actively searching on Google for a “ghostwriter” or a “memoir service.” They are busy professionals—business owners, community leaders, and people of faith—who have a powerful story but believe they are simply too busy to write a book. They don’t know that a service like mine, one that does all the heavy lifting, even exists.
My biggest challenge has been finding a way to bridge that gap—to reach these individuals and let them know that their dream of having their story in print is entirely possible. It’s not a matter of overcoming their doubt in my ability, but a matter of overcoming their doubt in the possibility of writing a book in the first place.
I’m now focusing on doing just that. I’m building connections, sharing valuable content through my website, and telling my own story to make it clear that a book is a tangible, achievable goal. The struggle has clarified my purpose: to be the guide who shows people that their stories are precious, their time is valuable, and with the right support, their legacy can be a reality.
As you know, we’re big fans of EverMark Publishing. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
EverMark Publishing is a book-writing and publishing company with a single, powerful mission: to ensure that every life leaves a mark. We specialize in helping individuals, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders turn their life stories, legacies, and journeys into beautifully written and professionally published books.
We are a full-service, white-glove company that handles every step of the book creation process. Our services are built around a human-centric, collaborative model. Through guided interviews, we sit down with our clients and simply listen. We then take their spoken words and transform them into a polished manuscript, managing the entire process from writing and editing to custom cover design and publishing on platforms like Amazon.
Our offerings are tailored to three distinct types of stories:
The Heirloom Package for concise, focused memoirs on specific journeys.
The Legacy Package for a full-circle life story or testimony.
The Founder Package for entrepreneurs and leaders who want to build their brand through their unique story.
In a world increasingly dominated by automation, our core differentiator is a commitment to authentic, human-centered storytelling. We are not a tech platform or a ghostwriting factory. We are a personal partner, dedicated to capturing your unique voice, tone, and values. Our process is confidential and collaborative, ensuring that the book is authentically yours. Your name is on the cover, and we are working behind the scenes to make it happen. We also believe that a book should be a profitable venture for the author. Our model ensures the client retains 100% of all rights and profits.
I am most proud of our unwavering commitment to our clients’ stories and confidentiality. Every book we produce is a testament to trust and respect. Our brand is built on the belief that a book can be a healing, empowering, and legacy-building tool. Our purpose is to make that experience as meaningful and stress-free as possible. Unless our clients choose to tell others about EverMark, no one will ever know our services were used. It’s their words and their name as the author on the book.
We want your readers to know that their story is more valuable than they realize, and that the dream of writing a book is far more achievable than they might think. Whether they have a rich family history to preserve, a message of faith to share, or an entrepreneurial journey that could inspire others, their story deserves to be told. They don’t have to do it alone, and they don’t have to wait until “someday.” At EverMark Publishing, we help them leave their mark now, creating a book that will last forever.
The printed word will outlast all of us. You never know who might read your story and be inspired to overcome their own difficulties, find faith, or build a business.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
The publishing and ghostwriting industry is at a pivotal point, and I see a few major shifts happening over the next 5-10 years.
1. The Rise of AI and the Premium on Human-Crafted Content.
The most significant change is the integration of AI. AI will become a standard tool for everything from transcription and outlining to basic drafting and editing. This will create a clear two-tiered market:
A low-end, high-volume market where books are produced cheaply and quickly, often with heavy reliance on AI for content generation.
A premium, high-touch market where clients are willing to pay for human-led, human-crafted storytelling.
EverMark is strategically positioned in this premium market. I believe that as AI becomes more common, the value of a truly human-led process—one that captures nuance, emotional depth, and a unique voice—will only increase. Our clients want their authentic story preserved, and that is something AI cannot replicate.
2. Storytelling as a Core Business and Branding Tool.
More and more entrepreneurs, leaders, and professionals will realize that their personal story is their most powerful asset. A book is no longer just a source of passive income. It’s a vital tool for building a personal brand, establishing authority, and connecting with an audience on a deeper level. I see a shift from simply publishing a book to strategically leveraging a book as a foundation for a personal brand and legacy.
Ultimately, the industry is moving toward a greater emphasis on personalization and authenticity. While the tools of technology will become more powerful, the value of a true storyteller, with a human guide who can listen, understand, and bring a client’s unique voice to life, will be more important than ever. I’m excited for a future where every person’s story has a place to be told and preserved.
