Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Pope.
Hi Jeremy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Popes Pressure Washing back in 2021. Initially, it was just something I was doing as a side business for extra income but I realized that I was actually getting some job satisfaction, which I wasn’t receiving from my current full time job, at the time. After about a year and a half I decided to take the business full-time and we’ve never looked back.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been pretty smooth with the occasional speed bump. Running a small business definitely has its challenges and we look at the speed bumps as learning opportunities to make us a better service provider.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We offer exterior cleaning services to residential and commercial clients in the greater Knoxville area. Our goal has always been to offer quality results at a fair price. We focus on building relationships with customers so that we can be “their go-to company”. My time in the Marine Corps taught me that reliability is everything, and that’s how we want our customers to feel about us. Our customers know that we are going to take care of their property as if it was our own. We’re going to show up on time, complete the project they need done, and make their experience as easy as possible. This practice has been the biggest factor for return business and we are busier than we’ve ever been.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I think we will continue to focus on our current goal while growing our company and hiring more folks. More and more people continue to move to our area and we want Pope’s Pressure Washing to be a household name that our community trusts.
