Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Cespedes.
Hi Anthony, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my journey into the world of weddings after planning my second wedding. From booking… to decorating… to even writing the script that our officiant read… it all started there.
Soon after, Tennessee allowed notaries to officiate, and that is when Rocky Top Weddings was born!
Since 2022, we’ve officiated over 150 weddings and coordinated/planned about 15 ceremonies (just introduced this service this past year)
This past year, we’ve grown to add 2 more officiants and some additional planners/coordinators/assistants.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely NOT been a smooth road.
From starting off as a 1 man shop… to the eventual growth of RTW… it has been an emotionally trying time. From getting my name out there and growing… to also trying to be the best dad possible and keeping family life a priority… while ALSO maintaining a full time job at a mortgage company here in Knoxville.
As you know, we’re big fans of Rocky Top Weddings. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Established in 2022 in Knoxville, Tennessee… Rocky Top Weddings has been marrying couples all across Tennessee, Georgia and Kentucky. We can travel anywhere to help you celebrate your special day!
Anthony Cespedes, owner, is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and wanted to show allegiance to his alma mater with the name Rocky Top. Originally started as a business officiating ceremonies, Anthony has grown his brand to include coordinating, planning, decorating into his wedding packages.
Rocky Top Weddings has two additional officiants and planners on hand… with additional assistants available to make your day run smoothly. RTW is also a bilingual company! With 2 of 3 officiants/planners being Spanish speakers, they are able to cater to the Hispanic community as well.
There are many big things planned for Rocky Top Weddings…. and East Tennessee.
