Inspiring Conversations with Andi Worsham of Faithfully Fit

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andi Worsham.

Hi Andi, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a mom of 4 – 3 boys ages 11, 9, and 6, and a little girl who’s 3. I worked as an ICU RN for seven years and then in Labor & Delivery for three years. When my second son was turning 1, I was invited to be a part of an online fitness accountability group.

I had no idea what that entailed but I was frustrated with the postpartum extra weight I was carrying around and honestly, had never felt successful in implementing a healthy lifestyle before, so I took the chance and said yes!

Just a few weeks into this positive, uplifting community, I was feeling great! The quick and effective workouts I was doing from home were helping me to gain strength and confidence. I was excited to work out for the first time in my life. The physical and mental results I was getting were addicting!!

I naturally started telling everyone around me to try it! Seems so obvious – workout every day and you’ll lose weight – but what I had stumbled upon gave me ALL the tools to make my daily fitness routine stick, and that was something I had never been able to do before.

I lived my whole life struggling with my weight – from a terrible body image to yoyoing on the scale, to fad diets, unhealthy eating habits, and the pendulum of excessive exercise to no exercise. I always needed something to stick and once I felt this change inside of me, I had to share it with anyone who would listen.

From there, my business was born. I had very strong negative associations with network marketing companies. I had zero prior personal experience with them, but I believed them to be a scam and had vowed to never participate. But when my whole life was taking a positive uptick from the programs, products, and community that I was now a part of, the business seemed like the next natural step!

I wanted to shout from the rooftops that EVERYONE needed to try these workouts and get in an accountability group because they had made all the difference for me. I also had a deep desire to be a stay-at-home mom.

Working nights was hard with two toddlers and I knew I wanted at least one more baby so I didn’t see how I would be able to do that and maintain my nursing schedule without losing my sanity from lack of sleep. I saw the opportunity to build a business based on helping other people get healthy and find a lifelong balance between their fitness and nutrition.

Right away, I started my own online accountability group and started coaching other women, encouraging them to make themselves a priority if even for just 30 minutes a day. I made it my mission to be the biggest cheerleader and support person for Moms who needed a simple and effective fitness routine in their own lives.

A couple of months into becoming a Health & Fitness Coach, I began to build a team and mentor them in the business as a way to extend the ripple effect on more people’s lives – people I would not have been able to impact on my own. I worked consistently at building my team and my business in the cracks of my days between changing diapers, long night shifts, cooking, cleaning, and being a Mom.

We welcomed our 3rd son in December of 2015 and at that time I couldn’t imagine going back to work. Now with a son about to start school, a toddler, and a newborn – I didn’t see how I could be a good nurse, Mom, and continue to pour into my fitness business all at the same time.

Something had to give and in the weeks leading up to my return to work date, I realized I was earning more income as a Fitness Coach than I was as an RN. I realized that this business had provided an opportunity for me to continue to help people which is my passion and also to be home with my kids full time which is my number 1 priority.

I resigned from my nursing job in March of 2016 and have been home, working as a Coach ever since!! As with any business, especially working with small children at home, this endeavor has had its fair share of ups and downs but it has taught me so much about work ethic, loving people well, resilience, and more than anything – how our health is more important than anything.

Living a healthy lifestyle is not easy for so many people. Making the choice to work out daily and fuel your body right is a daily hardship for a lot of people. Learning to love the journey, find the balance, and teach other people to do that too is the BEST job in the world!!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This business has not always been smooth sailing. Sounds too good to be true – work out from home, tell people about it, earn an income. But in the nitty-gritty of all of that is consistent work.

What I do isn’t hard, but showing up and doing the things that this business requires on a daily basis is the hard part. Especially with small kids at home. It’s been challenging to find the time the daily to get my business hours in but I have made a commitment to myself to be diligent with my time and constantly adjust my work schedule based on the ever-changing schedules of my kids.

I have been working as a Coach thru 2 pregnancies in which I wasn’t able to work out at the end, and of course, had to wait the six weeks postpartum to resume workouts and that was such a struggle for me because I get so much stress relief from my workouts and I also felt like, “how could I encourage other people to work out if I wasn’t working out.”

I realized, that by continuing to show up as an encourager and share the real and raw pregnancy and postpartum moments with the women I was working with, they were inspired to stay the course on their own journey even when I couldn’t be running right alongside them.

Also, my family and I moved across the country in October of 2020. We left behind the life we always thought we would have in San Diego, CA, for a new life, here in Maryville, TN and that was a very trying time personally for me, which is reflected in my business. I had to muster up all the grit I have to push thru on the hard days and keep putting one foot in front of the other.

It’s been a lot of change in a short amount of time but being on this side of it I realize it was my health and fitness routine, the thing that I preach every single day, and focusing on this business that has really helped me to stay in a positive mindset and get thru this challenging time.

We’ve been impressed with Faithfully Fit, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I run a health & fitness business, specializing in helping busy moms find a healthy balance in their daily nutrition and a fitness routine that becomes their lifestyle. My goal when working with my clients is to empower them to take the time for themselves to work out daily and fuel their bodies well so that they can be the Moms they desire to be.

I’m always reminded of that quote “You can’t pour from an empty cup” and as Moms, we are constantly pouring out to everyone else. It’s easy to get lost in the daily do’s and never-ending to-do lists that are full of doing all of the things for everyone else in the home. Moms all too often don’t take care of themselves, feel guilty for taking time away from their kids to workout, and don’t realize that they NEED to fill up their own cups in a healthy way in order to be at their best for their family.

In my online accountability groups, I offer daily support and encouragement for women to work out and feel an entire community rooting for them on the good days and the days they just don’t want to do anything. It’s a private and personal approach to providing the safe environment all Moms need to thrive in their health and fitness.

I am known for my relentless consistency and persistence in my own personal journey as well as in this business. I realize that I can’t make anyone do the things that I know will improve their daily lives but I will never stop pushing them to their full potential and being their biggest hype girl so that they know they are not alone in this.

I don’t sugar coat things and always share the real and raw that is going on in my personal journey so that my clients know that challenges will happen, but when they do I will still be here, still showing up, still working out, still cheering others on.

I think what sets me apart from others is I won’t give up! Life is a rollercoaster and from the highest of highs to feeling like you’re in a valley, I will still be here. Working out. Lifting others up. Encouraging others to show up and never quit! Because quitting means giving up on yourself – instead of living life to your true potential.

I am most proud of my brand for leading with Faith, first and foremost. It took a huge leap of faith to walk away from a guaranteed paycheck as a Registered Nurse to venture into a direct sales company but I believe whole-heartedly in the programs and products that I represent and in myself for showing the efficiency of what I have to offer, as well as the results I have helped other people glean from, from these programs/products, and from this business.

I want readers to know that if they have ever struggled to find balance in their health and fitness routine – I’m your girl!! I have been there and have now made it my life’s work to help other busy women, with full plates, find the right fit for their life.

I will help you find a routine that you can take with you forever and the results physically and mentally that you’ve always wanted.
