Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
When I had my Color Analysis done, I initially thought it would be a fun day with my mom. However, I was amazed by the profound impact it had on me. Seeing how the right colors can enhance one’s natural beauty was truly eye-opening. After that appointment, I knew I wanted to share the gift of confidence through Color Analysis with others!
In October 2022, I opened my House of Colour franchise. Nearly two years and over 400 clients later, it has been a true privilege to help make Knoxville more colorful!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Upon opening my franchise, I soon realized that Color Analysis was not widely recognized in the Knoxville area. To increase visibility, I actively participated in networking events and consistently shared content across social media platforms. Within two months, my business experienced significant growth!

I offer Color Analysis and Personal Styling services.
During a Color Analysis session, I use precision-dyed drapes to determine your seasonal color palette. The process begins by identifying whether you have cool or warm undertones. From there, we evaluate whether bright or muted colors suit you best, revealing your seasonal palette. Throughout the draping process, you’ll notice visible changes in your complexion as different drapes are used, it’s quite fascinating! Your seasonal palette works for clothing, makeup, jewelry, hair color, nail color, etc.
During a Style Analysis appointment, we focus on three key aspects: your body architecture, personality, and lifestyle. You will learn how to dress in a way that honors all three areas.
Additionally, you will receive a personalized set of clothing and style guidelines specifically tailored to you. For instance, you will be provided insights on the ideal rise of jeans, the most flattering necklines for both clothing and jewelry, the best silhouettes for dresses, the appropriate size for bags or purses, the ideal lengths for coats and skirts, the most suitable length and style for your hair, the scale of patterns that work best for you, and suggestions for incorporating unique features and details to create your signature look.
I firmly believe that when you feel good on the inside, it reflects on the outside. Color and Style provide you with the tools to look and feel your absolute best!
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love Knoxville for its strong sense of community and the warmth of the people. Growing up in Knoxville, I’ve seen firsthand how supportive and welcoming this place is. Whether it’s the local businesses, the beautiful outdoor spaces, or the rich cultural history, Knoxville has a unique charm that makes it feel like home. It’s a city that cares, and that’s what makes me proud to be part of it!
While I love my city, one thing I find challenging is the growing traffic and development. As Knoxville continues to expand, it sometimes feels like we’re losing a bit of the small-town charm that makes this place so special. I hope that as we grow, we can find a balance between progress and preserving the heart of our community.
