Today we’d like to introduce you to Jesse Castillo and Jenilee Castillo.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I (Jesse Castillo), have worked for over 25 years in the painting industry for multiple companies in states including Indiana, Texas, Ohio, Delaware, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Florida. Before moving to Tennessee, I had the opportunity to work for a Donald Trump property at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. FL.
For five years as a painter. Then, my family and I moved to Knoxville, TN. In October of 2018. I obtained several jobs working for painting companies in the Knoxville area until deciding to start my own painting company at the beginning of 2021. My wife and I began the process of creating our own painting company at the beginning of the year, and since then have had consistent work and have been thankful for being able to help in remodeling and painting many Knoxville area residents’ homes.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a pretty smooth road for us so far in our first year of business. As of now, we don’t see any foreseeable struggles along the way.
We’ve been impressed with Cutting Edge Painting, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Cutting Edge Painting of Knoxville is a full-service painting company based in the Knoxville area. Our work is focused on residential and commercial painting projects. We specialize in interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, and staining. What sets us apart from others is that we feel like we keep customer satisfaction a priority and are willing to help the community in any way, even if it’s just for tips on how to improve a home or property.

It was great to meet you both today. I am sending my contact information just in case you forget me. I know you will not forget Honey Lee. I am interested in an estimate for painting my condo. I am wanting to redo the cabinets also. I am in no hurry to get the work done. I have all the time needed to start the project as I am still trying to make sense of this place.
