Exploring Life & Business with Olivia Hill of Liv Hill Nutrition – The Art of Living Well

Today we’d like to introduce you to Olivia Hill.

Olivia Hill

Hi Olivia, I’m so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Health has been such a wild & surprising journey for me! Over a decade ago, I wanted to improve my health, lose some weight, and become happier with who I was. I embarked on a journey that led me down the road of losing over 150 lbs. Since then, I’ve maintained that weight loss, never rebounding or yo-yoing. Through that journey, I developed a joy for all things nutrition and health! I would have friends ask me how to manage their health and become more fit, and things evolved from there! I became certified as a nutritionist and jumped in with both feet into nutrition coaching!

Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
There have been challenges! Every day brings a new adventure! I’d worked in corporate for 19 years, so jumping from the corporate world to entrepreneurship was a wild road. Some of the most challenging struggles were in the early years when learning what systems & communication styles worked best. People prefer different communication styles, which requires more adaptability. This is also ever-evolving ever-evolving with technology, which means it’s usually time to revamp as soon as you figure it out, it’s! – nothing here

I appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Liv Hill Nutrition – The Art of Living Well?
Liv Hill Nutrition is the best community for getting to your health goals! You have a life to live, which should be spent Living Well! Our foundations are simple: education, empowerment, and a community environment that fosters long-term growth! We eat real food. We have real jobs, absolute family obligations, real kids that get sick, overtime that needs to be worked, and real vacations we want to enjoy. We also have tangible goals that we want to achieve, like feeling fabulous in our clothes, being confident in our bodies, and making choices to support our bodies. Goals like picking up our child with special needs with ease, helping our aging parents, hiking dates, and inwardly smiling when you know you’re the strongest and fastest in your friend group. In the physical sense, we help our clients become more robust by guiding moving their bodies in ways they enjoy and helping them improve body composition & health markers. We also help our clients become more robust in how they navigate nutrition. We teach them how to manage food in their life in all circumstances.

One of the biggest obstacles that clients bring in is that health is complicated. It takes too much work and meal prep, and at the end of the day, what to eat & how to eat could be more apparent. And this is where we shine – we take the complex out of nutrition. There’s nothing like seeing someone reach their goals & look back and say, “Wow, this was achievable!” And then we beam as they hold onto the lifestyle and results for years! What makes us unique is as the founder, I have 15 years of experience in living a life where health is always part of daily activities. If there is a hack, quick meal option, or solid workout that gets the job done quicker, we are your people! (think of a workout routine that can be done in the bathroom while your toddlers are playing in the tub!) I’ve written a cookbook full of recipes with 5 ingredients or less – Meals Made Easy.

What makes us unique and what sets us apart is the clients that work with us! They come from different lifestyles, family dynamics, diet histories, and goals. It’s like having your cheering section – high-fiving you along as you step day by day into the person you want to become. Truly life-changing!

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Knoxville is the best, hands down! It can only compete with a quick drive to the Smokey Mountains or a date night at Market Square. The people are amiable. I’ve lived here my entire life and couldn’t imagine any city coming close to Knoxville!
