Daily Inspiration: Meet Todd Huber

Today we’d like to introduce you to Todd Huber

Hi Todd, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Hotel Restaurant Management. Before graduation, I was hired by Ruby Tuesday. I worked with them in Ohio and Michigan for 8 years but left when they started franchising many of the territories. I helped launch and develop a casual sit-down steakhouse in Kentucky. After leaving the restaurant business, I became a manager for AT&T and Verizon in the wireless retail world for over 10 years. I left the retail world for real estate in 2019 and haven’t looked back. It was the best decision I ever made; I just wish I hadn’t waited until I was 50.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
2019 was a busy year in real estate, but it was only foreshadowing what was in store during the COVID years. As a Realtor during COVID, we had to pivot and adjust how we worked and did business. Then, in July 2022, I had a heart attack and triple bypass surgery. Coming back in October felt like starting over again. So yes, there have been lots of struggles, but it’s about surviving the valleys and celebrating the peaks!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I understand that buying and selling real estate can be stressful. As a full-time Realtor, I will work hard to lower your stress level and make your experience as pleasurable as possible. I will accomplish this through constant communication and by being accessible whenever you need me.As your Realtor, I will be an advocate for you. Whether you are buying, selling or renting, I will work tirelessly to promote your best interests. If you are selling, I will work with you to get you the fairest price, in the least amount of time, by using state-of-the-art technology, team collaboration and Wallace Real Estates superior marketing materials. If you are buying, I will work hard to provide you the best information and up to date market analysis so you, the buyer, can be well-equipped with the strongest possible position to negotiate.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Finding the correct fit for you as far as a brokerage is key. I think I interviewewed at least 6 other firms befor I decided on Wallace. it just felt link family!
