Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Turner.
Hi Sabrina, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m born and raised in Knoxville, TN. Growing up my dad had a briefcase and albums of 4×6 stories (prints). Randomly I would go through and look at the pictures which brought me happiness. Viewing the pictures showed me events that happened even when I didn’t remember.
As a young teenager I asked for cameras for Christmas hoping that I could capture special moments to be forever kept. I realized how important a photo was and I was determined to make others happy. I remember I would stand in front of the mirror in the bathroom and take selfies on my camera, that was definitely a confidence booster. After high school, I went to college for accounting. I knew I loved math but I didn’t know I had too big of a personality to sit behind a desk all day.
I started photography as a hobby in 2016, in 2018 I received my first paid shoot. It was a shocking and amazing feeling to know I got paid for doing something I loved. I ended up changing my major to photography and life became more clear for me!
With the 8+ years of hands on experience and knowledge, I know what it takes to create beautiful pictures outdoor and in studio. Euphoric is the feeling of being happy and Phrames is photo and frames combined. I wanted my name to be different and truly represent who I am. Euphoric Phrames Photography isn’t your regular photographer. I go above and beyond to create beautiful experiences while having fun. I have 10+ years of great customer service and I love making people feel great. Being in front of the camera and in the spot light can be a little awkward so I try my best to make sure that my clients are comfortable. Being comfortable creates better results. Not only am I a photographer but I have an eye for bringing the vision to life using my creativity. I love providing props for the photoshoots so clients can feel like they are really involved. My creativity is unmatched. Outside of creative studio photoshoots, I also work with organizations and schools in the local area, capturing the greatness of people. I learned how to edit by experience. No one taught me my style, I only learned studio light from school. Euphoric Phrames Photography looks forward to growing and expanding, serving more people. Great experiences and fun vibes while creating memorable moments is the key to success and there’s nothing like framing your special moment.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One struggle I had was becoming notice. I’ve worked with so many people in the east Knoxville community and it took almost 7 years to be recognized by bigger organizations. The youth understands my style of photography because we are the face of social medias and need to be seen while elders didn’t really understood the importance of the creativity. I also tried to pitch for business grants to help grow the business to better serve the community but unfortunately I didn’t win. Although I didn’t win, I continue working hard to make it to where I am now. My creativity is what sets me apart and I love that I’ve been getting more recognition more than ever and I hope it continues to grow because i have so much to give.

I am a local photographer in Knoxville who capture portraits, events and commercial photography. My creativity and customer service while capturing special moments is what sets me apart from other photographers. As a black entrepreneur in Knoxville, I am extremely proud of my accomplishments and hard work and I definitely appreciate every customer/person who has supported me. I am known for my creativity for in studio photoshoots including birthday and holiday photoshoots
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I was a happy kid. I would go out of my way to make others happy. I’ve always been an understanding and loving person. I’m hard working and very self determined.
