Community Highlights: Meet Elizabeth Clanton of Mindful Moments Healing Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Clanton.

Hi Elizabeth, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am Elizabeth Clanton founder of Mindful Moments Healing Services. I am a Certified Doula, Sound healing Practitioner, and Celestial Blue Star Energy Master. I began my journey with Sound Healing in 2014 while studying Sound waves in college.

It all started with one set of Solfeggio frequency tuning forks and over the years has led to me working with a variety of instruments including gongs, drums, and singing bowls. Sound healing became my focus after experiencing its healing power personally through treating my PTSD. I was then divinely guided to provide this type of healing to as many people as I can.

My Birth Doula journey began shortly after having my first child in 2015. I am certified through Birth Arts International. The birth of my daughter didn’t go the way I had wanted and it really motivated me to help other women so that they could have more empowered birth experiences.

I then decided to incorporate energy healing in everything that I do through Celestial Blue Star Energy Healing.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My personal sound healing journey has allowed me to heal from my trauma. I have been able to transform lingering negative energy into vibrant love energy. I am now able to perceive the present moment clearly rather than it being clouded by my past.

Through deep Sound meditation, I was able to go deep within my subconscious to find my inner child and heal her. I found my inner child within and she was stuck in the fear from my early childhood trauma. She was still terrified and in shock. Through this deep meditation, I was able to sit with her, hold her in my arms and give her love to calm her down and heal her.

This experience showed me the root of alot of my personal emotional disturbances. This provided me with a clear vision to see how to address my trauma to heal my issues. This intensely healing experience inspired me to offer this type of healing to others.

We’ve been impressed with Mindful Moments Healing Services, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Mindful Moments Healing Services is based out of Alchemy of Maryville’s Nurturing Center. This is where my office is located, where I offer private sound healing sessions and doula consultations. I offer a wide variety of healing services, including sonic facials, tuning fork therapy on the body, couples sound healing sessions, and private sound healing sessions.

The root of all of my offerings is to help people shine brighter as lights of the universe. I use sound waves to help clear away stuck energy lingering within the energy field. Life experiences such as trauma and stress can leave energetic debris within our bodies. If this is not cleared away then it lingers and becomes denser. This can lead to physical, mental, and emotional health issues. I have devoted my life to helping people heal and surrender to the power of love. My Doula calling stems from a deep-seated need to empower women.

I educate women so that they can make more informed decisions in the most transformational points of their lives. I show women that they have the ability to take their power back and help them find their voice to do so. I advocate for women during their most vulnerable moments. I also offer Postpartum Doula services to help support women in the transformational process of adjusting to life with a new baby, and all of the emotions that come with it.

I offer monthly group Sound baths at multiple locations, including Alchemy of Maryville, Mystical Beginnings Shoppe, Evolve Nutrition and Yoga, and the Oasis Institute. I also offer monthly Mala Making Workshops and workshops on Raising your resilience. On Sunday mornings I co-lead a group mantra class with Kaycee Collins at Alchemy of Maryville.

An updated list of all of my events can always be found on my Facebook business page.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice is to do it.

Take the time to address your inner being. Do the shadow work so that you can shine brighter and perceive the present moment more clearly. Hire a doula to be a part of your birth team so that you can have a supported birth experience.

Women that are supported by a doula during birth have been found to experience significantly fewer birth interventions and better birth outcomes.
