Today we’d like to introduce you to Ben Seymour
Hi Ben, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Ben Seymour, I am the Piercer and Shop manager of Saint Tattoo on North Broadway in Knoxville Tennessee.
Saint Tattoo is currently the oldest Tattoo/Piercing shop in Knoxville est. 1996.
I started at Saint in 2019 as counter help. Then shop Manager in 2020. Now piercer & operator in 2024.
I owe a lot to our owner Doc Coop’r and wouldn’t be where I am today with out him.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I am very blessed and my burden has ben light.
I owe all of this in part to a great team over here at saint, my mentor Kim Shordon, and my friends & family at home.
I am lucky to call Saint my home here in Knoxville.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I offer select piercings six days a week, Monday-Saturday from 12:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M
My favorite piercings to do are paired nostrils, conch, and unique bellybutton set ups.
My main goal as a local piercer is to be available for the client on their time. For this reason I am walk in only and do not take appointments. I will always make time when there is not any.
I do not charge for jewelry changes, curations, or consultations.
I hope to be known for a reasonably priced, quick and sterile experience.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I was a bit of a wild card and that is probably why I ended up in a tattoo shop. I have always liked to cut up and not take things too seriously … until it comes to my work that is.
I have always had a strong work ethic and have been motivated to succeed in whatever it is I do.
I believe it is this attitude that has helped me through out my life.
If man does not work he does not eat!
