Today we’d like to introduce you to Allan Glessner.

Hi Allan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Allan Glessner started this business over 30 years ago in Grand Island New York. He was working for his uncle repairing RV’s and Motorhomes for his business named Cozy Rv Park. As he Got older he longed for more and Cozy Landscaping was born. He started mowing lawns and doing small landscape projects. As he grew, he found that upstate New York was to small for his business goals. After his biggest projects in New York including new pavers and an entire redesign for the American side of Niagara falls, and an entire new design for Kinishas college in buffalo. He moved his business and family to knoxville TN in 2005. This Started Cozy Excavation & Contracting LLC. From here he grew and grew into what it is today. Now we Build and General contract Large industrial buildings, build bridges, and mass grading projects across the greater East Tennessee. We also are responsible for the capping of the Yarnell Landfill, and Many subdivision cut ins across Clinton and Knoxville. We also are responsible for all the dirt hauled into TVA for capping fly-ash, the digging, the dirt, and the hauling. Now Allan at 55 years old is retiring and stepping back as His two sons Cole & Parker take over the buisness.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Business is never a smooth road everyday poses new problems to figure out and hurdles to jump. Economically, internal, and small company issues come everyday. its always war and you have to be the best to make it.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Cozy Excavation specialises in all things dirt and demo. From tearing down large banks to moving hundreds of thousands of yards of dirt, we are your one stop shop. not only do we sub, we are unlimited license Contractors that build anything from small fast food chains to hotels and townhomes. Are Favorite project to date Was the Powdercoat II Expansion. over 4 acres of clearing, a 22″ fill for subgrade and a 33,000 sft building we built attatched to their existing building. We did the whole project in house and it is in operation today. What sets us apart from our competitors is not only our end product but our christian based origins. Without God we woudnt be where we are today, it guides our goals, and our morals with every customer we encounter.
