Rising Stars: Meet Brandon Foster

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Foster.

Hi Brandon, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Well, my story starts with me being a gamer. I have always loved gaming and anything having to do with it. Computer games, board games, tabletop role-playing games, you name it I have tried it.

When I was growing up I learned about Dungeons and Dragons, the best game ever by the way, but it really sparked an interest in me. I loved the way that it was all about imagination, and if you could think it you could do it. This led to my fascination with dice.

I grew to be what I call myself today a dice dragon. Honestly, you start as a goblin and slowly graduate. I became so obsessed with having unique dice that I decided to order all the stuff to make my own. After I started making some my wife told me they were super nice and I should think about selling them, hence Rymar’s Reliquary.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a difficult road to travel finding locations to sell without our own storefront is difficult.

We have done several conventions and other things along those lines. We really want to open our own gaming store though. That is our ultimate goal in this.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I would consider what I do to be what I am most proud of. Being able to make these super awesome-looking dice that people love, it’s the best.

The custom dice that I make is my favorite because I love to see the reaction of my customers when they get to see something they described to me come to life.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I am open to all forms of collaboration support and communication.

We have been thinking about starting a Patreon but are uncertain as to how that would go over. But to support me follow me on Instagram @rymarsreliquary keep an eye out for when I am gonna be somewhere and stop by and say hello.

I also run a local discord for people looking for D&D groups and such so that is a great way to talk with me directly.
