Rising Stars: Meet Andrew Walsh of Irvine

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Walsh

Hi Andrew, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Andrew Walsh: A Journey of Faith, Resilience, and Purpose

My name is Andrew Walsh. I’m a follower of Jesus, married to my beautiful wife Jemma, and we’re expecting our first child — a baby girl — in just a few months. I work as a Title Rep for WFG National Title, but more than a job title, my journey has been one of faith, perseverance, and personal growth shaped by life’s challenges and God’s unwavering faithfulness.

At 17, I faced a near-death experience when a septic staph infection caused organ failure. Doctors told my family I might not make it through the night. By God’s grace, I survived, and that experience reshaped how I view life. Each day is a gift — one I never take for granted.

As a junior at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, I suffered a broken back playing college football. Losing the sport I loved was humbling, but it drove me deeper into Scripture and helped me build a foundation of faith that prepared me for life after sports.

After college, I entered the real estate industry but faced another defining moment when I was let go from my first job in escrow after just eight months. They told me I might be “too nice” for real estate. At that point, I couldn’t cover rent, and my life felt like it was unraveling. It was then that I made a life-altering decision: I got sober, rededicated my life to Christ, and surrounded myself with people who inspired and uplifted me.

Soon after, WFG National Title hired me, and I’ve never looked back. For three years, I woke up at 3:30 a.m. daily, determined to build a career grounded in integrity, hard work, and service. Maya Angelou’s words have guided me: “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” I’ve made it my mission to make people feel seen, heard, valued, and appreciated.

God’s blessings have been extraordinary. My wife and I bought our first home and invested in a rental property in Knoxville, Tennessee. We’ve traveled the world, hosted a small group Bible study, and have had the privilege of leading others closer to Christ. Looking back, every struggle was part of God’s perfect plan — shaping us into who we are today.

Through it all, I’ve learned that success isn’t measured by titles or accolades, but by how faithfully we steward the opportunities we’re given and how well we love and serve those around us. For that, I am forever grateful.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Life has thrown its share of challenges, and I’ve faced seasons of struggle that tested my faith and character.

Growing up, my parents did an incredible job raising me in the church. I went to Saddleback Church, participated in a small group Bible study, and was baptized at a young age. But like many, as I got older, especially in high school, I strayed from that path. I started hanging out with the wrong crowd, drinking, and making choices that pulled me further from my faith.

There were countless “come-to-Jesus” moments where I’d realize how far I’d drifted and recommit to living according to God’s Word. I’d focus on doing everything “right” — living by the Bible and following the Ten Commandments — only to stumble and fall back into old patterns. This cycle continued until I hit rock bottom after being let go from my first real estate job.

At that point, I had credit card debt, couldn’t pay rent, and had just bought my wife’s engagement ring, preparing to propose. It wasn’t just about me anymore — I knew I needed to change, not only for myself but for her and the life we wanted to build together. That was the turning point when I fully surrendered my life to Christ and committed to living with purpose and intention.

After getting married, my wife and I were baptized together as one. We committed to building our life on a foundation of faith — staying sober, waking up early, going to bed early, reading the Bible together daily, attending church, tithing, and honoring a weekly Sabbath day of rest.

Looking back, I can clearly see how God used those struggles to reshape my life. What felt like breaking points were really moments of transformation. Each challenge deepened my faith, strengthened my marriage, and prepared me for the incredible blessings we’re experiencing now. God’s grace has turned every setback into a part of a much greater story — one I’m forever grateful to be living.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work in the real estate industry as a Title Rep for WFG National Title. When most people think of real estate, they picture real estate agents selling homes or lenders helping buyers secure loans. What many don’t realize is the crucial role that Title and Escrow play behind the scenes to ensure a seamless property transfer.

As a Title Rep, my primary responsibility is to connect with real estate agents, lenders, escrow officers, and investors — building relationships and earning their trust so they choose to direct their title orders to my team. Once the order is in, our team ensures the transaction closes smoothly by verifying there are no liens, claims, or issues with the title when transferring the property into the buyer’s name.

What sets me apart isn’t just what I do but how I do it. My work is grounded in my faith and love for Jesus, and I’m not afraid to share it. Every day, I strive to reflect God’s light through my actions, conversations, and work ethic. I approach every new meeting or client interaction with the mindset that three other Title Reps will likely meet with that same person. While we may all have similar tools and technology, I want the person on the other side to feel something different when they meet me — to feel seen, valued, and uplifted by positive energy.

Before I start my workday, I get on my knees and pray. I ask God to guide me, bring the right people into my life, and remove the wrong ones. I pray for opportunities to serve with excellence, for wisdom in business, and for strength to lead with integrity. I also ask that nothing comes before I’m ready and that God’s will is done in every situation.

Time and time again, God has exceeded my expectations. He’s blessed me with opportunities and success beyond what I could have ever imagined — truly living out the promise of Ephesians 3:20: “Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built and the lives I’ve been able to impact through my work. Success for me isn’t just measured in sales numbers or accolades — it’s measured in the trust, respect, and meaningful connections I’ve been fortunate to develop along the way. It’s about using my platform to serve others, lead with love, and reflect Christ in all that I do.

What are your plans for the future?
My wife Jemma and I have been married for over five years, and by God’s grace, we’ve been blessed to travel the world together, experiencing so much of His beauty and goodness along the way. This year, we felt God calling us to take a leap of faith and start growing our family — and He’s blessed us with the greatest gift: we’re expecting a baby girl, due in the middle of March.

We’re excited and grateful beyond words to step into this new season of parenthood. We look forward to seeing how God uses our daughter to shape us, stretch us, and help us develop more Christlike character. We can’t wait to experience the world through her childlike wonder — seeing familiar places and new adventures through her eyes. Traveling with her and building lifelong memories as a family is something we’re incredibly excited about.

Jemma and I have always been big dreamers. God continually places new goals and visions on our hearts, and we love working together toward what He has planned — whether it’s building our dream home, growing our real estate investments, or creating a life filled with faith, love, and adventure for our daughter.

One of my favorite promises from Scripture is Proverbs 4:18, which says: “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.” We truly believe that our best days are still ahead. God has been so faithful, and we trust that His plans for our family are even greater than anything we could ever imagine. We’re excited to keep walking this journey together, one step of faith at a time.
