Today we’d like to introduce you to Meleah McCammon
Hi Meleah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I officially opened my business in 2010, after several years of side-hustle entrepreneurial ventures. I knew I wanted a shop since I was about 12 years old and finally took the leap when I couldn’t deny this part of my path any longer. The first several years were full of challenges, ups and downs and a big learning curve, but once we got settled into a location on Sutherland Ave, we finally began to deepen our roots and grow our customer base and community. I moved the shop to South Knoxville in 2017 and continued to grow the shop offerings, expanding into classes and services offered by others aside from myself. We continued to evolve and grow into the current incarnation of what Inner Perfect is today. We are currently in our 16th year of business.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The first several years were really challenging financially. I didn’t take out a business loan, and started small and just grew the business as I could. My heart kept telling me I was doing the right thing and sometimes with mere sheer will and determination, I stuck it out and made ends meet as best as I could, Earlier in my shop-life, I would run the shop during the day, and waited tables in the evening. I did what I had to do to keep afloat.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We support the larger spiritual community made up of individuals on their unique soul path, helping to empower, uplift and grow into realization of their own perfection. Community is at the heart of what we do and we provide a wide variety of resources to support and uplift our people. Through a trinity of offerings: educational and community gathering, one-on-one intuitive guidance and energy healing modalities, and curated metaphysical tools and offerings, we aim to provide full circle avenues for spiritual growth and life path alignment. From classes and workshops, individual intuitive counseling and energy healing sessions, and magickally crafted products and spiritual tools, we put high-vibrational intention into everything we offer our community. Newcomers, curious seekers and seasoned practitioners are all welcome.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Inner Perfect isn’t afraid of evolving, and for those who’ve known me for a while might not find that surprising. But, the next incarnation of our offerings will include a retreat and workshop center about an hour outside of Knoxville, on a beautiful 9 acre farm, surrounded by the wilds of East Tennessee.
