Hi Reagan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started the @GreenevilleTN Instagram page in 2019 as a “practice” page! I reposted pictures of Greene County and eventually, the page grew to have thousands of followers. At the time, I didn’t realize what I had but I always knew I wanted to open a Greeneville-themed merchandise store to go along with it.
So in fall 2021, we opened @ShopGreenevilleTN!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Shop Greeneville has not always been a smooth road. I think the biggest struggle is access to a wider audience. Shop Greeneville will only ever be as big as the population— so we decided it’s time to expand!
Coming April 2022, @ShopGreenevilleTN will become the @TennesseeCollection and expand to the entire state of Tennessee. Offering customized city and county apparel as well as Tennessee, Tristar, and area code apparel!
Our hope for this is to create a larger audience and have access to more in-person pop-up events!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a full-time entrepreneur and content creator! Instagram is my specialty. I’ve worked from Instagram for almost 10 years doing things like social media management, photography, and sponsored brand deals.
Now I work for myself, sell my merchandise on my @ShopGreenevilleTN account, and work with brands on my personal accounts @itsreaganlow!
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
It look us 2 years to finally make the decision to launch Shop Greeneville after the initial idea!
