Today we’d like to introduce you to Lincoln De Souza
Hi Lincoln, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began my journey at a local veterinary clinic, where I spent my time overseeing the playgroup in the daycare area. My passion for dogs truly ignited when I met my soul dog, Abby. She is the reason I am where I am today. Initially, I struggled to walk her on a leash because she would pull and react to other dogs passing by.
Determined to improve our relationship, I decided to take a course with Cesar Millan. Not only did I learn how to walk Abby properly on a leash, but I also gained valuable insights into dog psychology. Following the course, Cesar invited me back to assist in his program.
I then started my boot camp program in my backyard, running obedience classes on weekends and conducting home visits with new clients to help them strengthen their relationships with their pups. My business began to flourish, largely without any advertising. The most effective promotion I did was simply walking around the neighborhood with more than ten dogs at a time.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
NO it has not been. Trying to find the “right” employees has been a challenge. It has taken years to gather the team I have now.

I specialize in dog behavior and also teaching humans how to see the world through their dogs eyes. I don’t necessarily train dogs in the traditional way but teach humans about dog psychology and how to apply it in their homes to create a calm balanced space.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Don’t give up! Find someone who has accomplished all you want to accomplish and have them mentor you. Everyone has something to teach us. Have an open mind!
