Hi Daniella, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Daniella Lopez; I’m a professional makeup artist. Makeup has always been my passion, and since I was 15 years old, I started my love and took it to a professional stage. I started makeup courses with makeup artists and started getting certified. All this in Cartagena, Colombia, where I’m from, and never stopped since then. I’m 22 years old and want to take my passion and knowledge and step forward.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It is not a smooth road, besides that, it’s hard, and you have to be willing to grow and fail and learn to love the process, which I’m just getting started, but you have to keep your motivation and goals on top.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting.
You have to first fall in love with your project and for me now, starting as independent, not letting fear get with you, and just keeping going so that someday you will look back and say wow! Thank god I didn’t give up.
