Hi Amy, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Rocky Top Bartending was born out of my own experience as a bride-to-be. I struggled to find the right bar service that fit my needs—particularly one that allowed me to bring my own alcohol to save costs, yet still provided professional bartending services. While I didn’t get married in Tennessee, building my business plan made it clear that I wanted to offer a more affordable option, ensuring this service wasn’t just a luxury, but something accessible to everyone.
I then was fortunate enough to convince my talented friend, Chet Wollan, an incredible bartender with a knack for crafting exceptional cocktails, to join me as my business partner.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been challenging to stand out in a market with other vendors offering similar services, but we believe our attention to detail and exceptional level of service will truly set us apart!
