Inspiring Conversations with Richard Jacobs of Forexfreedomusa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Richard Jacobs.

Hi Richard, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
Starting off, I’ve always been a person with my mind going many different ways and at the same time looking for ways to make money. So, you could call my a side hustle expert and deal connoisseur. I would look for different ways to make money while in college because I’ve always had to pay out of pocket. So, one day I was introduced to forex trading by my good friend Joey, and it really caught my attention because I have always had an interest in that space. I went for a few weeks to check the legitimacy of the company and the forex market.

I had my reasons for not jumping in at the time like, I was just getting married, buying a house, and then my new wife ended up pregnant. So, I really wanted to get everything finalized and be on a stable path before jumping in. Week after week I told my buddy that I would join, and one week he was like Ricky, you need to get in and quit telling me next Friday. I said ok and came to the realization that there is no perfect time for most things, you just have to make it happen. With everything going on I jumped in and hit the ground running. Every time I had free time, I would be diving into Forex and learn how to perfect it. After about a year of ups and downs with the market, I finally wrapped my head around the whole space.

Then, seeing how powerful this market and skill is. I began to post about it on my Facebook and talk about it in person with people I came into contact with. This started a wildfire of interest and then I joined the marketing side of the company because, why not share this skill with the world and help others become financially free? This for me also brought in a second stream of income without really trying. At this point, I questioned whether I needed to stay in school and finish my degree.

I date down and put goals together that if I hit I would quit school and go 100% into everything I had going. Needless to say, I hit those goals and didn’t go back to school. Why finish 3.5 more years of school and go 6 figures in debt to make a capped income? I could go 100% into forex and marketing and have no cap on income, and I’m already making what I would have to start.

Here I am 5 years down the road and I don’t regret it one bit. It’s opened up so many opportunities for my family, and I’ve met so many great people who I now consider good friends. We travel together multiple times a year together to company conventions. We are also online training together up to 6 days a week which many teams and people aren’t doing with their students. We have been absolutely exploding this year with over 4,000+ students in our group learning to do what we do.

Overall, forex has enabled me to spend the most time with my family and never miss key moments with my kids growing up; I have 2 now at this point. Also, just had a brand new house built that’s 3 times the size of where we started out at. Also, I get the ease of mind that I will have my family set financially, and will enable my kids to become whatever they set their minds to. Forex is not for everyone, but most barely venture outside the boring standard way of living.

In conclusion, if you have an interest in things you need to try them and see how it works out. Failure is part of most journeys, and it only fails completely when you quit. So, pursue your passions, and give it 100% and you will succeed.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Most definitely wasn’t smooth.

Some struggles were loss of sleep, money stress trying to make it in the beginning, and family stress.

However, with all these, you have to learn coping skills and take time to calm down. Most nothing in life comes easy or overnight.

We’ve been impressed with Forexfreedomusa, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a small business that educates people on how to day trade in the forex market.

Also, how to acquire the proper mindset to be successful in anything you do. The forex market is more mental than play.

In addition, teach everyone how to market and grow a passive income online and become financially free by providing all the tools needed to do so.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was always building things out of nothing. If I wasn’t doing that I was outside playing and building treehouses.
