Inspiring Conversations with Dayna Love of Oxygen Sauna

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dayna Love.

Hi Dayna, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
How My Healing Journey Sparked the Birth of the Oxygen Sauna Business

I started the Oxygen Sauna business in 1996, after a profound personal healing experience that changed the course of my life. In my early 30s, I became seriously ill. I visited countless doctors and tried various therapies, but nothing worked. Despite my efforts, I felt the life force slowly draining from my body. Deep down, I feared I wasn’t going to make it.

Then, by the grace of God, I met a visiting doctor from France who introduced me to a type of medicine I had never seen before. One day during our sessions, he asked me a simple question: “Do you sweat?” I answered, “No, I don’t.” He immediately started wagging his finger at me and said, “You women who think it’s so wonderful that you don’t sweat—you are the sickest ones!”

That moment stayed with me. And after working with hundreds of clients over the years, I now know how true his words were. People who do not sweat are often the most toxic and unwell.

This doctor also introduced me to the healing powers of ozone and oxygen therapies. Fascinated, I began researching how I could use these methods myself. Eventually, I found a company in Canada selling the necessary equipment. I traveled there and studied Bio-Oxidative Therapies with Dr. Frank Shallenberger. When I returned home, I committed to 21 days of sauna sessions—and the results were nothing short of remarkable. My symptoms dramatically reversed, and I felt life and vitality returning to my body.

The core principle is simple but powerful: when you detox your body from harmful toxins and increase cellular oxygen levels, the body has a remarkable capacity to heal itself.

My experience left me inspired and full of hope—not just for myself, but for others who were suffering and searching for answers. That’s when the Oxygen Sauna business was born. Since then, I’ve had the honor of helping countless people on their path to wellness, forming lasting friendships, and witnessing incredible transformations.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth Road, No! The right road, Yes!!! Over the years I have had the Oxygen Sauna in a few locations, Sedona, AZ, Tempe, AZ, Kauai HI and now Knoxville. Over the years I have had equipment break down, bad contract decisions, more health issues (Lyme disease) but through it all I personally had the sauna by my side for my own health and everywhere I took it with me it has been a success. One person on Kauai told me, “Dayna, people just don’t move here and become successful as you have.”. I believe it was because people understand at a deep level that they need to detox, in fact I believe without people being conscious of it their body is constantly giving them the message to get the toxins out. Back then my marketing was very old school compared to today. I wrote press releases, I put ads in the newspaper, brochures everywhere and I did a ton of networking and public speaking. I always had a great referral as the by product of it works for people and they tell others about it. For several years I sold the equipment to other business owners as well. But my best compliments have come from clients who tell me “Dayna, you are your business!”

As you know, we’re big fans of Oxygen Sauna. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I’m an entrepreneur at heart, and I’ve always loved the creativity, freedom, and purpose that come with running my own business. Since founding my Oxygen Sauna practice in 1996, I’ve worn many hats as a one-woman operation—driven by a mission to help others heal naturally and reclaim their vitality.

My original dream was to grow the business into a franchise. But life had other plans, and Lyme disease forced me to put those ambitions on hold for many years. Despite losing precious time to illness, my passion for healing and helping others never faded.

The Oxygen Sauna is a form of Bio-Oxidative Therapy—a powerful treatment that combines hydrotherapy, hyperthermia (therapeutic heat), oxygen, and ozone to deeply detoxify the body while increasing oxygen at a cellular level.
Why This Matters:

We live in a toxic world. Over time, our bodies absorb harmful substances from food, air, water, and stress. Think of your body like a barrel: it can handle only so much before it overflows, leading to symptoms or disease.

The Oxygen Sauna helps relieve that burden by supporting one of your largest detox organs—your skin. By sweating deeply in a safe, controlled environment, your body can release years of stored toxins. This takes pressure off your liver, kidneys, colon, and lungs—freeing up your body’s energy for healing and regeneration.
How It Works:

Inside the Oxygen Sauna, you sit comfortably in a steam cabinet while therapeutic ozone and oxygen are introduced and absorbed through your skin. The steam opens your pores, raises your body temperature slightly (a mild hyperthermic effect), and activates your immune system. During a 30-minute session, you can burn up to 200–400 calories, detoxify deeply, and flood your body with oxygen.
Benefits of Oxygen Sauna Therapy:

Slows the aging process

Stimulates the immune system

Improves cardiovascular health

Reduces pain and inflammation

Enhances athletic recovery and performance

Detoxifies heavy metals, chemicals, and pathogens

Inactivates viruses, bacteria, yeast, fungi, and parasites

Boosts blood circulation for faster tissue repair

Oxygenates every cell, increasing energy production

Improves skin texture, tone, and clarity

Supports people with chronic fatigue, environmental illness, and more

Promotes an overall sense of well-being and clarity

Over the years, I’ve witnessed countless clients transform—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. One of the most rewarding aspects of this work has been helping people detox their bodies and, in many cases, break free from dependency on medication. That’s something I hold close to my heart.
Why Oxygen?

Oxygen is the fuel of life. Every cell in your body needs it to function. Unfortunately, poor diets, sedentary lifestyles, chronic illness, and environmental pollution have led to widespread oxygen deficiency. When your cells lack oxygen, your health begins to decline. But when your oxygen levels rise, your body has the tools it needs to heal, energize, and thrive.

Now more than ever, people are turning to alternative therapies to increase their vitality and improve longevity. Oxygen and detoxification are two of the most powerful tools we have to stay healthy in today’s world.

What sets me apart from others is my many long years of doing this type of therapy and the fact that I use ozone in a sauna setting and that all sessions are one on one with my clients. I am most proud of the testimonials I receive and how that over the years I have helped many people to better health. I love the name of my company, Oxygen Sauna is very unique both in name and service.
