Hi Ciera; so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My Name is Ciera Bobo, and I am the owner of BoYo’s Co. After my recent graduation from International Air and Hospitality, I received the honor of becoming a Class Valedictorian. During my time in Vancouver, Wa, I learned much about myself, but more importantly, I found my passion. I have dreamt of having my own Business, but it wasn’t until putting together my skills and passion for travel I started to believe in my future. At 21, I decided to reach for my goals. From long nights to endless meetings, I slowly started seeing my first company production come together. While building BoYo’s Travel and being young with many ambitions and determination, I began to push myself further by expanding my company. I completed my Yoga Teacher Training and started accepting Clients. At the same time, I saw a huge increase in the demand for Mental health awareness. This was when I developed my online yoga studio called BoYo’s Studio. As you see, BoYo’s Co. is more than a company; we have the background and skills of more than just a Travel Agency or Yoga Studio. BoYos Co. It is built on the ability to “Be Free and BE YOU” our motto here is created to give each client the comfort and customizing they need to suit them. In each company, we handle our clients with personal hands-on assistance. We understand that no one or situation is the same. We provide our undivided attention to the needs and assists we may be to any of BoYo’s Clientele. Many times I have traveled to many different locations where I didn’t know anyone, and to have a well-trusted company on your side giving you a safe and comfortable service, when it comes to travel, why not choose to travel with luxury?
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Throughout my journey, I navigated the business world. It can become challenging trying to stand out and make a mark. In this industry, you will quickly learn to choose a target market and have a niche. Too often, we can get caught up in our passion that we forget others might not understand why it is so important. If you have followed me on all social platforms, you will see more engaging and interactive posts with my clients to allow a personal feel. I wanted my client not just to feel like a transaction was being made but that our business could make a big enough mark that when it comes to travel or yoga, BoYO’s Company is the first thing on their minds.

BoYo’s Company is an Umbrella Company made up of two different Niches. BoYo’s Travel is not just a travel agency; we put together personalized packaging with free video consultations with live hands-on bookings. Our Travel company specializes in bundling your travel needs or the best price guaranteed. That is why the motto here is Tavel with a Luxury Feel. No extra fee or hassle, but Stress-free from beginning to end. The Second Company is BoYo’s Studio; due to my past mental health history, I have also taken a stand on a healthy lifestyle. So often, going to the gym can become intimidating trying to learn all the different machines. This was when BoYo’s Studio came about. I wanted to create an online environment to encourage those dealing with mental health to be free and be you, as our studio motto is how the studio gives you the freedom to choose how you practice from an on-demand subscription where you have all access to all pre-recorded sessions. We also wanted a monthly Package where you can have 1on 1 time with your instructor. Personalized sequences each week allow you to choose your meeting times. We can arrange community sessions that you can attend as well. BoYo’s Community has a form of Comfort and Trust for your MIND, BODY, and SOUL.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Since COVID-19, we have seen high demand for social interactions. However, getting back to a new normal has been less fun. Learning how to show up in the world can be hard after losing resources or connections. It’s important to remember each client has a life outside of my company. It is my job to release any stress or hassle that has been tact on in my Industry. If I can assist or shed some light on a situation, I must go above and beyond for each client. You never know when you can leave a long-lasting impression that can stick. With that, social media has grown so much since COVID. Now becoming an influencer is on almost all millennials’millennials’ bucket lists; this was the perfect opportunity to show off my skills and personality. It allowed me to reach different clientele, but I stopped worrying about what others wanted to see and started posting what truly makes me and By Business Shine. I began seeing the Change in others’ posts and started seeing more engagement on all platforms. One tip I can give you is to stay consistent, and just when you feel like you are putting in 100, its time to put in 1000.
