Today we’d like to introduce you to Brett McGregor
Hi Brett, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started detailing as a side gig back in 2015. I had a job working on naval bases in San Diego and my work day ended at 2pm giving me plenty of time in the afternoon to get a detail or two in. Eventually my side gig was getting so busy I made the decision to quit my job and go all in detailing. That was back in 2017 and I’ve been detailing full time ever since. I moved to Knoxville in 2022 and brought my business here with me.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I’ve hit just about every obstacle possible in this industry! Haha from equipment breaking down on the job to navigating permits and licensing(especially challenging in California!) to moving my business to a new state and starting over! Overcoming challenges is one of the best parts of being a business owner though. If you’re not a problem solver I wouldn’t recommend starting a business!

I am a mobile car detailing service. I specialize in Ceramic Coatings as well as interior deep cleaning. I am extremely proud of having well over 100 5 star reviews for my quality of work! One thing that sets my business apart from others is my easy booking process for details. Having an easy to understand menu of detailing options and a simple online booking process ads to the convenience of my services.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson learned is to just keep going. Don’t quit. That’s it. That’s the only distinguishing quality between those that “make it” and those that don’t. They just keep moving forward.
