Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Rice.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
The way I got into junk removal was through my hobbies which were buying and selling through estate sales. Initially, that’s all I did, I would buy furniture and appliances and re-sell.
After a while, people started to ask me to transport Items and move old things out of their homes. After the first few times, I started to advertise – Facebook, Craigslist, and a few other sites. After a day or so I was so busy I couldn’t keep up!! At the time, I was an electrician and made decent money but didn’t have the freedom I wanted.
After a few months of doing junk removal part-time, my wife and I decided I should take the leap of faith and see what I could make of it. I currently have 2-3 part-time employees and plan to have 2-3 full-time employees this spring. We will also be adding a dump truck and a box truck for larger homes and commercial debris removal.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been tough at times – equipment breaks and getting everyone on the schedule can be tough. But as far as the business. The housing market keeps booming and so do we.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We are a locally owned Junk Removal Company. We offer home cleanouts, Appliance Removal, Attic Cleanouts, Commercial Debris Removal, Hot Tub Removal, and much more. What sets us apart is our communication – we answer the phone plain and simple.
When we head to your home we notify you at least 30 minutes before we arrive. Pictures are taken before and after. We will also ask for a review, simply because we want honest input on how to maintain the best customer service possible.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Family, friends, and health… life is filled with abundance. Recognizing this is an important step to feeling grateful for all life has given you.
