Hi Knight, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my Trail Building company in Vermont and expanded operations to Knoxville in 2015.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been smooth sailing for the most part. I’ve been lucky to have attracted very talented employees and discerning clientele.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Ideride Trail Design & Construction?
Ideride designs and constructs recreational trails and networks. We have completed many high-profile projects in the Eastern US and Canada. Burke Mountain Bike Park in Vermont is designed and constructed by Ideride and is set to host stops on the 2022 and 23 Enduro World Series.
Knoxville’s Baker Creek Preserve skills park, completed by Ideride in 2020, quickly became one of the most visited city parks and even sees many riders traveling from elsewhere. Our trails are well known in the mountain bike community for the high level of craftsmanship, sustainability, and fun!
We are proud of our ability to use the natural terrain and elements to provide an exciting and relatively safe experience to the widest range of users. We work with the land managers and owners on projects of all sizes from backyard tracks to master planning for entire trail networks.
