Today we’d like to introduce you to Benjamin Meyer.
Hi Benjamin, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Benjamin Meyer, I’ve always had a love of art ever since I was a child, my interest always tends to go back to Medieval Europe whether it is fantasy or nonfiction if there’s an element of the middle ages that I can see in something then I will pick up on that and I will obsess over it.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road for me at all, I have dealt with many challenges, losing people, and losing friendships, a lot of people in my family don’t like the kind of artwork that I love and that I make, but my artwork isn’t for them my artwork is for someone like me, the teenager growing up in middle America finding his or her way in life.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I draw, make models, shoot photography and above all, I collect art, whether that medium is in posters, t-shirts, books, toys, even stickers
