Conversations with Vinnie Vineyard

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vinnie Vineyard.

Hi Vinnie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have been in entertainment for almost my entire life. From making radio broadcasts that no one would hear on a tape recorder in my bedroom when I was a kid led to performing and winning awards with comedy as a high schooler.

Professionally, I’ve had radio gigs, stand-up comedy runs, and long-term stints with skit writing, acting, hip-hop/ funk bands as a bass player and singer, professional wrestling, acting, producing, paranormal television, and now movie making.

I’ve enjoyed the challenge of each genre but I think I have finally found a home with making movies.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
My biggest obstacle to long-term success is that once I get halfway decent in a particular field, I get bored with it and want to do something else.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I now run Big N Funky Productions with my tag team partner Big Luke Walker.

We make movies, paranormal television, comedy skits, and also film other people’s projects too. I probably am most famous for my lead role in our last movie, “The Hike”, but this new movie “WJHC AM” we believe will be bigger still. My runs as Funkmaster V in pro wrestling, touring music, and on the ghost show “Wrestling With Ghosts” has also notched me some notoriety.

What sets me apart from others? I have a drive for success. I never liked, or wanted, to work a 9-5. It just isn’t in me to jump in the rat race. So with that drive I have taken on many career paths and enjoyed every one of them.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
