Conversations with Daniel Sutton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Sutton.

Hi Daniel, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Daniel, professionally known as (the) “Dreamweaver” Wayne Moxxi, and I am a professional wrestler and sports entertainer based out of Knoxville, TN. My introduction into professional wrestling began in 2002 after watching the WWE/F Survivor Series PPV! In 2007, I found the connection with professional wrestling while watching an episode of WWE Friday Night Smackdown with my Dad.

Fast forward to 2015, my brother was involved in an accident that kept him hospitalized for three months in the ICU, and during those three months with him, I realized the pursuit of a dream was NOW or NEVER. In the Fall and Winter Season 2016, I find my entry into professional wrestling through a local organization in Pigeon Forge, TN. The next three years would have extensive peaks and valleys along with many opportunities presenting themselves.

With the pandemic of 2020, among other variables, I decided I would take a leave of absence from professional wrestling. A year creeps past and my vision becomes more clear, my goals are now set and a plan is made. July 2021, I returned to professional wrestling under the tutelage of the legendary Dr. Tom Prichard at the Jacobs-Prichard Wrestling Academy, graduating in September 2021.

I have been actively wrestling in the independent wrestling circuit since graduating with aspirations to weave, if you will, all my dreams in professional wrestling and life.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Mental Health: Life is a garden that does not come without weeds. The grandest obstacle is that of one’s own mind, as the mind can be thy biggest threat and greatest ally.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Professional Wrestler In-ring/Stage performance. Storyteller and Athlete.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Acceptance. Perseverance. Adaptability. Readiness. Professionalism.
