Community Highlights: Meet Chris Pilone of Knox View Media

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Pilone

Hi Chris, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Long story short, I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. I went to school down at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville where I studied finance and accounting.

After a graduated college, I started my professional career in the wealth management industry in Knoxville, Tennessee working on a team of financial advisors. After about three years in that role, I moved from Knoxville Tennessee to New York City to work within the alternative investment group at Morgan Stanley.

I moved to New York City in February 2020, and as soon as I moved Covid shut everything down. So I moved back home to Cincinnati and shortly relocated up to Columbus, Ohio to manage a service team within the alternative investments department.

I have always had a goal to own a business, I just didn’t know which business I would start. Through the pandemic started taking photos of local golf courses in the Cincinnati area, which triggered my hobby/passion for creating content.

I came across real estate photography as a business model and connected with a business coach to help hold me accountable and get me started. Working with a coach has no doubt exponentially fast tracked my success.

In May 2024, I decided to take the leap of faith and leave my full-time job, move down to Knoxville, Tennessee to start my real estate media business. After Too short months in Knoxville, I’ve managed to work with over 50 agents and over 70 photo shoots. The business has taken off quicker than I ever expected, which would have been possible without a strong belief that I could make it happen!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The path where I’ve gotten today has definitely been extremely difficult. Mentally I have had to overcome a lot of obstacles with the most difficult decision being to quit my full-time where I was making over six figures and had not made a single dollar from real estate photography.

The biggest thing I can point to my success has been an unwavering belief in myself that I could accomplish my goal of business ownership, and that I would be successful in whatever it is I set my mind too.

I wouldn’t have been able to get through these challenging times without the support of my family, friends and coaches !!

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Knox View Media?
Knox View Media is the business. I started about two months ago, where I specifically work with real estate agents to help them market and sell their listings.

I provide services from interior photography, aerial photography, property, videos, 3-D tour, floorplans, anything you can think of to help market and sell a home I can probably do !

What set me apart from the competition is the customer service that I strive to provide. The most important thing in my business is providing an exceptional customer service experience from start to finish. Making sure my clients are happy with the service they receive as well as the products I offer remains top priority as I grow my business .

Humbly, I am most proud of myself for having the courage to completely change career paths after seven years in the finance industry. My success may seem quick however it has been a long journey of trial and error to get to where I am today.

I would like readers to know that I am open for business and if you are a realtor in the Knoxville Tennessee area, I would love to connect and hear how I can help bring value to you and your clients!
