Hi Amy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Amy Cole Sullins. I’ve been a wedding and family photographer for over 15 years. In those years, I have spent many hours of course work for graphic design and social media management and strategy.
As Amy-Cole Photography progressed, I fell in love with the strategy behind why social media works for small businesses. This lit a fire in me to help other entrepreneurs grow their businesses the same way.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We’ve had an amazing time learning this craft. We started a sister business called Amy Cole Creative in 2020. In 2023, we felt a stirring to change the name of the business to Upcrowd Social. Upcrowd is niched to churches and non-profits, but we also serve in the medical and therapy fields.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Upcrowd is based on the rule that social media shouldn’t speak to the crowd that already follows you. They see who you are every day that you post consistent content.
Instead, we should be about reaching that crowd outside the walls of your church or business.
We specialize in graphic design, content creation, branding, headshots, and social media strategy and management. We also offer web design and SEO audits.
We are set apart by being an all in brand. We can take everything you’re doing and create a consistent strategy while also running your account and creating hashtags that convert.
I’m super proud of this brand. It’s grown and doubled in size in the last three years. We have clients all over the US and we actually turn away brands that don’t align with our main goal…to reach people authentically.
We offer social media strategy and creation. We can mentor or run your accounts. From the beginning of the process we can decide if you’re an all in client or a client that just needs the correct tools to do it on your own.
What’s next?
We are growing! Very soon we will be adding additional graphic designers and marketers to our team. We will stick to who we are and the hands on experience people love from Upcrowd. Amy, our lead strategist and CEO, will still maintain constant communication with our clients, but it’s time to allow growth to take us to a new stage.
