Check Out Logan Cross’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Logan Cross.

Hi Logan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
RPG was established by Ashley Kennedy (aka “Red”)  in 2013. Ashley attended SCT Master Class school for tuning, and had years of Ford Performance knowledge and expertise.

I came to find RPG first as a customer in 2016. It was then I met Ashley, one of the kindest and most welcoming people you could ever know. Quickly the customer relationship turned into a friendship where I spent almost every day helping at the shop, which is something I will forever be grateful for and cherish. It was in 2020 when he tragically passed away leaving myself and Justin Gadell in a complete fog. We did not know what was going to happen to the shop that we called a second home. We strived to maintain Ashley’s legacy and his vision of the shop in the following years, and we feel we have done right by him to this point.

We, like every establishment, have had our trials and   tribulations. Above all, we feel like we have weathered   them well as we continue to pursue his and our shared   dream. After Ashley’s passing, Elijah White came in and   brought a new set of eyes and ideas to the table. I am   incredibly thankful for him for progressing the social   media side of the business, and for his technical   abilities making an idea a reality with the shop’s first in-   house designed and marketed product, the flex fuel kit.

I have been an automotive enthusiast since I was a child. My dream to work on fast cars and be in the automotive aftermarket industry has always been a passion. Many of you know me and have seen me, and some of you have only spoken with me on the phone. I was in the Air Force for 12 years- 5 of which I maintained and worked on KC-135 Refuelers, the rest I was flight crew as a boom operator. With years of experience on aircrafts and late model Fords, my goal is to bring the best quality and attention to detail for all of our amazing clients. Thank you to everyone for your continuous support and for taking part in making Ashley‘s dream a reality.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
By no means has it been an easy road. After loosing Ashley and acquiring the business we had to learn fast and in some cases the hard way. Once we found our footing business wise, we struggled to find the right team members to grow into what RPG could become. We are grateful for the team and support system we have created now and the professional partnerships we’ve been able to forge.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
RPG is a veteran owned and operated business that was established in 2013 by Ashley Kennedy. We run RPG in his memory, and offer the best performance specializing in 2011+ Coyote Mustangs, GT350s, GT500s and Raptors. We also support the gen4+ GM platform along with global B and 2015+ mopar. We are dealers for over 150 companies to supply our outstanding community with every performance option to be had. We have proudly launched our very first product to market this year, a 100% plug and play CANbus flex fuel solution for the 15+ Mustang platform. What sets us apart is our dedication to the community. We support our local charity’s, automotive events, and drag strips. Our hope is to be able to support these amazing places to keep our automotive destinations and organizations alive for generations to come.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is subjective. Success for me is being able to support my family and our goals, giving back, and building relationships in our community. While financial success is a dream of most, creating a meaningful establishment that bolsters family, friendship, and community is a view Point I feel most would envy.
