Today we’d like to introduce you to Chad Hughes.
Hi Chad, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My dad started this business Jan. 1, 1991. He worked at a local Stove manufacturing company in Athens, Tn and transitioned into the role of their in house IT before that name was termed. I had been working at other jobs when he asked me to come work with him.
Sadly my dad past away in Dec. of 2020. But we have continued on with the same goal as when we started, to take care of our customers.
That was 35 years ago and there have been a lot of changes since then. From using floppy disk to most everything now has become a digital download. We have also had to change and keep up with the latest tech along with everyone else.
Our services include: Managed IT services, managed WiFi, networking ethernet & fiber, antivirus, security camera’s, pc sales & service
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Yes there have been struggles, starting a business when there wasn’t a huge demand like there is today.
Now every business or small office has a few pc’s or printers, when we started that wasn’t the case.
That’s when we decided to expand our coverage area to neighboring counties. This helped open up our client base which lead to offering service contracts.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We specialize in IT but what makes us different is our commitment to getting the job done correctly. We don’t leave until everything is done right and the customer is satisfied.
The thing I’m most proud of is learning how to deal and interact with people. Still learning.
We strive to be more than somewhere that you bought a laptop. Everyone is going to talk about you, we want you to smile when you mention us.
How do you think about luck?
I don’t believe in luck, I believe in faith and hard work.
