Hi Kevin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstory.
My business started almost 4 years ago when I worked for a big nationwide corporation that does auto glass. I was tired of being overworked and underpaid, and under-appreciated for years. I was teased and bullied because I hurt my shoulder, making me feel like a crappy employee when I knew I wasn’t. I could do great things but never had the opportunity. I wasn’t the best technician, but I had enough, and I wanted to do more with my life, so I discussed it with my wife and took a considerable leap to better my family. It was hard starting my own business; believe me, it’s stressful to this day, but I love what I do. I love that I can make my customers happy by providing reasonable prices and quality, and that has gotten me to where I am now. Business is growing, and I have some amazing customers who know I’ll always answer my phone when they need something.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has had its ups and downs. At first, it was hard getting my name out there, and I thought of giving up more than once, but I didn’t give up. I kept at it, slowly found some amazing customers in keeping groups, and became the go-to Jeep guy in my area. Now I take care of big dealerships and small family businesses, and business is growing, and I couldn’t be happier.
