Daily Inspiration: Meet LunaverSol

Today we’d like to introduce you to LunaverSol .

Alright, thank you for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
Thank you. My parents said I was singing before I spoke, so I’ve always been rooted in music. Being raised in a musical family in Southeastern KY, I naturally began in bluegrass. My dad taught me to play guitar, and I went on from there. I started finding my style of music, deciphering what I liked, and began to create. I was inspired by my college friends who were also pursuing music careers. I eventually moved to Dunwoody, GA, for a while in 2017 with my friend and fellow musician Tatiyana Dean. I was blessed to begin my music career with another artist and dear friend Deraj Global in 2020. I put my first music video with Roman Lane, and it was up from there! I just kept going, though I was slow to put out music. I kept writing, recording, doing shows here and there, connecting with different people and studios, and just doing my best to spread a vibe wherever I went. It’s been and is continuing to evolve into a very magical time. Now? I recently returned from Nashville to promote my new single Kudzu Bloom (Also prod.mix/mastered by Deraj 🙂 and do some recording with some phenomenal artists out there. I’ve been networking with wonderful people, doing some shows, art receptions, and then music for some more sacred things. I was doing my best—I’m thankful and looking forward to more.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Overall I’ve been incredibly blessed on this journey. For example, this interview is a huge blessing; I can even share my story thus far. Mostly, the obstacles I have to overcome on this journey are internal. Getting over a lot of mental blocks when creating or finishing my work if I don’t feel like it’s just so “perfect.” Or if I have a few setbacks in a row, I feel less productive than I should be. I’ll do my best to try not to get discouraged, though. Something that helps me in moments of self-doubt is meditation/prayer for awareness & sparks of energy and motivation on my path; that assists me with the internal reasons to carry forward in this specific path. And then, for an external cause, I will list all the people who have faith, honestly believe in me, or have asked me to carry on my journey. I try my best not to rely on external validation or motivation but knowing I have dear people behind me who want me to keep going? That makes me feel groovy and warms my heart to keep rolling out the vibes.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I enjoy being a transducer of art in every sense of the word, except for acting. I have never been a good actor, though I appreciate the art! I’ve always understood vibration better than words, so I am better at communicating through art. When describing something verbally, they must cut away at it with words. This tends to dilute the message, but with music, dance, painting, sculpting, song, and poetry (though they’re words, they send a different vibration), one can feel it, which is why I thrive so fluently there. I like to vibe. I’m mostly known for my music. However, I truly enjoy painting and drawing. When I paint, it’s mostly acrylic. I also like working with the earth, so I want to make table tops from tree bark and things like that. At the end of the day, though, I’m a sound bearer, so I specialize in producing music and song, whether Ceremonious or just for fun.

Please talk to us about happiness and what makes you happy.
I enjoy a blissful moment, like sitting in the sun by a river or seeing everyone around you laughing. Exceptionally beautiful and exciting at the same time. Something that makes me feel excellent and happy is when at a live concert, everyone is cheering and singing; we’re all present in that moment together, just existing joyously or however the song makes someone feel; it’s such a divine moment! Also, being productive and progressive and getting further along in my path brings me much self-fulfillment, making me quite happy. I love achieving my goals; honestly, that feels so good. I love my family and friends. So spending time with them, seeing them as excellent and healthy, and doing the things they want to do makes me happy too. I also love solitude; being alone and enjoying some time to myself is pretty fun, a sit under the moon. I love a good, happy song.
