Today we’d like to introduce you to Ben Skvara.
Hi Ben, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As a child, I always strived to be different and unique in my own ways. My brother and I pushed ourselves to be creative, ambitious and motivated in any shape or form. That is when we knew Crystal Lures, LLC had to be formed. Based on love and a hometown story, our fishing lure company blossomed to be a successful entity nationwide.
Our Grandfather and founder, Pap, became the face of our company on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. In the midst of forming our company, we found the love for displaying photo and video content while on the water. It allowed our creative side to flow, while also depicting the art and our love of fishing.
In the recent years, I have founded a digital marketing media agency. Primarily focusing on commercial grade photography and videography. From learning these creative skills through Crystal Lures, I have been able to translate them to another growing industry. That is when SKEEF, LLC was formed.
Being a full-time student, and running two successful companies definitely keeps my hands full, but Henry David Thoreau states it perfectly: “Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it.”
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Overall, one of the biggest challenges has been time management. Between balancing school, running two companies, and possessing an active lifestyle, time is not on our side.
My brother and I had to sacrifice some of life’s greatest adventures to continue to pursue our dreams and visions.

What matters most to you? Why?
The one thing that matters most to me is my family. From loving parents, grandparents, and siblings, they genuinely make me who I am today. I could not do it without their never-failing love and support. Thank you, Mom, Dad, Gram, Pap, and Cole, you all complete me.
