Hi Tara, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
At an early age, I used to watch as my dad built houses. I dreamed of one day following in his footsteps. In 2006, I started rehabbing houses. Then, I got my real estate license in 2015. Now, I am also a licensed building contractor in the state of Tennessee, run a team of partners who collaborate, partner on new builds, and represent buyers and sellers Through their real estate journey. .
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Without failures, we never really meet our full potential! Of course I have had my share of obstacles and challenges along the way. I am a fighter, so I tend to see challenges and obstacles as just another hurdle. I have to jump over.
One challenge I have faced is balancing my time between working, and spending time with my family. I have since learned to time block, because otherwise, with how demanding Real estate is, I would be working all the time.!
As you know, we’re big fans of Riah Properties, LLC, with Riah Build, and Riah Collective -Doing business under the same umbrella . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We build houses, rehab houses, manage properties, work with buyers and sellers, and work with investors to expand their portfolios.
What sets us apart from others is the excellence in which we serve. Also, we use our experience in building and rehabbing to help our buyers and sellers during home inspections. Our vast knowledge of the building process helps with knowing costs to get repairs completed, plus, we have the people to also do the repairs needed.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I prioritize trust in my relationships, which helps build strong connections with my clients and partners.
Also, Clear and consistent communication is a cornerstone of my approach, ensuring all parties are well-informed throughout the process.
My ability to advocate for my clients and achieve the best outcomes plays a crucial role in my success.
