Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyndall Edwards

Hi Kyndall, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Esthetics school in 2015 and absolutely fell in love with the acts of self care it introduced me to. Learning to care for my own skin was the first step in truly becoming a passionate and skilled esthetician. It isn’t hard to be passionate about the way self care makes you feel. It also isn’t hard to become passionate about meeting the self care needs of others. Learning that esthetics is so much deeper than the surface was so key in the development of my passion for this field.

As a kid who was adopted at a young age and grew up foster care adjacent, I faced a lot of challenges growing up and as an adult. I had to find a purpose and it had to be something I could be fiercely passionate about to drive me right past all of the statistics that the system had laid out for me. That is why I am here. To show others in my situation that there is a way out. There is a way to become a better version of yourself. There is a way to heal beyond your trauma and there is a way to best the odds! The gag is, all of this can be done simply by loving yourself and spreading that message through acts of self care for others.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Whew, entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart! This economy has proven to be hard to depend on. Entrepreneurial life is sometimes taking it a day or week at a time. There are some days where I don’t know how I’m going to make it and then there are some days I pay so much forward because of the blessings that have fallen into my lap. There will always be struggles, what has saved me is learning to be solution oriented instead of focusing on the problem. I also trust God to bring me through as has always been the case.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a licensed esthetician specializing in full body waxing, skincare, lashes, brow sculpting, and professional makeup application. I have a passion for men’s self care as I do not feel as if they have enough representation in my industry. I welcome and appreciate all types of clientele and pride myself on being a safe space for anyone. I am know for my luxury Brazilian waxing services. I am one of the first estheticians in Chattanooga to fuse luxury skincare with intimate body waxing services. Many have insecurities about intimate skin but have no professional perspective to speak of. I feel as if I have opened the door for men and women alike to have a safe space to ask those questions.
What I am most proud of is how my clients trust me and continue to invest in themselves and me. I am so proud that as soon as I add a new service to my service menu, my clients book it. They trust the quality and consistency of my services and I couldn’t be more proud of that. I want readers to know that an appointment with me means you have great taste and that you should get ready for a luxurious experience.

What are your plans for the future?
I am looking forward to and planning for another business venture geared towards men and meeting their selfcare needs! Be on the lookout!
