Hi Joshua, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began my journey in marketing while working at a previous job, where I successfully promoted the business to the community. This experience made me realize I had a unique drive and that the traditional 9-to-5 job wasn’t for me. So, at 21, I decided to start my own business, and now, at 22, I know I will face challenges and might not achieve immediate success. However, by staying true to my company’s motto, B1 (Be Number 1), I believe I will make progress and achieve my goals.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t. I came here without any knowledge of the market industry. I currently live in Knoxville, having moved from New York in February, and I’ve been gradually figuring out how to start anew here. There have been many obstacles, especially in May when I lost my job due to my current business being seen as a conflict of interest. However, I’ve learned to always trust my instincts during tough times and have faith in the path laid out for me.
