Hi Elizabeth, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Since I was little, I remember always picking up any camera and capturing whatever I could. I would even get dressed up and do an entire photoshoot. In 2020, I decided to start capturing moments in other people’s lives, not knowing where it would take me but knowing I loved capturing memories for many different people. I quickly realized that I love capturing memories that couples cherish forever. Preserving a moment that will last for generations is so special. I am capturing the moments and creating a visual time capsule for you to remember every moment just as it was on your wedding day!
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a relatively smooth road to starting my business. One of the biggest struggles I face is imposter syndrome, which is feeling like you are not good enough and people around you are better. I constantly struggle with that, but I always have to stop and remind myself that I have so many couples booking with me because I am perfect and what they have always dreamed of.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a couples and wedding photographer known for soft, moody edits that evoke emotions. I am most proud of how much I have grown since starting my business in 2020 and perfecting my style. My goal with every wedding and session is to tell my couple’s story because each love story is unique, so I strive to make sure their love shines through the photos. I am a posing expert, so when it comes to your session or wedding day, I have all of it taken care of so you don’t have to remember your Pinterest board of 100-plus poses. I will curate poses that will give you and your partner breathtaking images.
Have you learned any exciting or essential lessons due to the COVID-19 crisis?
I started my business toward the end of 2020, and I learned that things can change quickly. I want to learn to be adaptable for my couples and allow them the space to reschedule while still giving them a quality experience!
