Today we’d like to introduce you to Hailey Hutchison.
Hi Hailey, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Getting into hair was always something that seemed obvious to me. I always loved the feeling of leaving the salon and feeling like a new and improved version of myself, so I always wanted to make others feel the same. I took cosmetology in high school and it helped tremendously with starting cosmetology when I got out of school. I graduated hair school in 2019, started an apprenticeship and have been at it ever since! I love doing vibrant colors and edgier styles! And I also love doing corrections, we’ve all been there and I love a challenge!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I am blessed to have help from all the family and friends I have around me. It hasn’t always been easy being in hair, standing for so long and building my own clientele. But I love where I am at today and I wouldn’t trade it for the world!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an all-around hairstylist. My specialties are vivid colors, shags, lived in color, and corrective colors and cuts. I feel like many of my clients have been referred to me for my cuts. I love working with hairs natural texture to enhance the shape of the hair, whether that be curly, wavy, or pin-straight. I am very proud of the relationships I have built with my clients, my chair is a safe space for anyone! I feel as if I can be set apart from others by the interests I hold and the energy I give off!

Success is feeling secure yet constantly evolving in what you are doing.
