Hi Josh, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My coaching journey started at Middle Tennessee State University, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Administration. I founded my first business at aged 19 (1st Flight Entertainment) but still felt a void in my professional life.
After college, I created The Impel Project. Helping individuals and organizations get started on new goals and dreams through coaching, building stronger goals, and creating an action plan.
My passion for people and progress has helped me host workshops, create coaching plans, and encourage everyone to step into their GREATNESS! I am here today because I hate to see wasted talent! My mission is to make sure each client reaches their full VALUE and POTENTIAL!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all! Starting a business is never easy. Figuring out my coaching style was a struggle at first, but working every day as a coach gave me the tools I needed to bring my own style to life!

What sets me apart from other coaches is that I am direct and to the point. The Impel Project focuses directly on your goals and how to take the first action step towards them. My mentor, Willard Brown, reminded me to take action and not be another face in the crowd. He was the reason I got into entrepreneurship and his advice is the same energy I implement with my clients after every coaching session.
The Impel Project knows life happens and is here to protect your goals through any mental or physical challenges. We remind people of ALL ages to invest in themselves and highlight the skills and talents that made them into the people they are today.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I can see everyone having a Goal Coach in the next five years!
Everyone has a specialized professional they go to. Doctor, lawyer, mechanic, therapist, fitness trainer, etc. But who is protecting your goals?
As we continue to move forward in a pandemic, taking action on our personal goals is more important than ever.
