Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Elevation Events of the Smokies began with a simple passion for creating beautiful, memorable moments for others. What started as small celebration setups for family and friends quickly grew into something much bigger; a full service event decor and concierge business serving Sevier County and the Great Smoky Mountain area. From day one, our mission has been to elevate every occasion- whether its a wedding, family reunion, a cabin setup or a corporate grand opening- by turning ordinary spaces into unforgettable experiences. Over time we expanded our services to include not just luxury event decor, but also guest concierge services for short term rentals, floral design and partnerships with other trusted local small businesses.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like most small businesses, the road hasnt always been smooth. In the beginning, it was just a vision but with a lot of hard work its become reality. We had to build everything from the ground up and its been a learning process all the way but we are building solid relationships and we are earning the trust of the community.

We are known for our attention to detail and our ability to completely transform a space. Whether its a cozy cabin setup, a wedding ceremony, or a large scale company event, we take pride in designing each setup to reflect our clients personalities and visions.
What really set us apart is the level of personalization and community collaboration behind everything we do. We work closely with a network of trusted local small businesses all vetted by us to ensure quality and professionalism.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
One thing that surprises a lot of people is that Elevation Events of the Smokies started as a small passion project- just me creating simple celebration setups for friends and family in my spare time. I had a full time career position at the time. My work space started on the corner of my living room, eventually growing into the spare bedroom. It’s also a fun surprise for some to learn that we not only design event decor but sometimes officiate weddings too! At its heart, Elevation Events of the Smokies has always been built on love, creativity, and a shole lot of hard work and that’s something we never plan to change.
